"So happy this place is GONE!! The food was horrible, the service was abysmal, the blatant disregard for HEALTH code laws and the care of the community is appalling. I can't believe it look 2 years to shut down this POS place. Should have been shut down in 2020. I hope the owners NEVER gets a chance to have another business in El Dorado County or California for that matter. I get so happy and cheer every time I see that ugly Apple Bistro sign ripped down! GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!"

Golly, Mable. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to politicize the restaurant after all? I thought -everyone- would be so happy to see far-right MAGA posters while they eat. We walked in, saw the extreme political propaganda, and walked out. Unreal.

So glad to see this piece of garbage restaurant has closed. Stopped here last year to pick up some food on my way to Placerville, but left after being turned away at the door for wearing a mask. So very appalled to see how little they care about the health and safety of the community

FREEDOM!!! We love this place, beautiful view, great food and good service. We supported this business as much as we could when small business was being decimated in CA. Wonderful place for brunch! Watch the planes take off and land at the airport and enjoy music on the weekends. The owners are kind, patriots that want people to enjoy their establishment. Dog and kid friendly too.

"Easily the best burger in town. If I'm coming through Placerville I've got to stop at Old Town Grill. The food is fresh and made with love. The owner John is an incredibly nice man who will remember your name for years and greet you kindly upon walking in on days he is working. The bacon blue cheese burger is a personal favorite. The outdoor seating area is well shaded and lovely. "Fantastic staff. Hostess Tahlia and our server Sarah were very hospitable. Food was well made and portions were very satisfying. Restroom was clean without any problems. Dinning area was very clean and sanitary. Very low noise so we could talk at a normal conversation level. I would recommend trying the Deuce Coupe burger."

"So enjoyed this restaurant! The guy who answered and reserved the phone gave us a personalized tour through the resaurant/mine areas. The attitude was great. We ate the stairs, ordered Chicken Parm, Steaks and Jambalaya. Dinner was hot and attractive served by friendly waitress. It was a bit waiting until our dinner arrived... we were patient. (Maybe staff is tight due to Kovid) We enjoyed it!"
