"The service at this restaurant was exceptional. I enjoyed meeting and speaking with the owner, who gave me some great recommendations from the menu. I was a bit surprised by the price of the meatloaf I ordered when the bill arrived. Everyone agreed that the food was fantastic, as well as the wine and service. We had dinner with an appetizer, wine, and tip, and spent about $140 for two people. In my opinion, it's the best food in town, but it may not last in St. Joseph without more affordable menu options. I had never heard of this restaurant before that day, so perhaps it needs more publicity to boost its popularity. Overall, it felt like a dining experience similar to Kansas City in St. Joseph, which is a first in my opinion.
