"I have eaten a handful of time in Brazen (for special occasions as it is expensive) and have enjoyed any vegan special I tried from Risotto to Polnta to Gnocchi to Pizza. Crockery is made from scratches and is a sophisticated combination of flavors and ingredients that are produced locally. I recently tried her vegan chocolate cake and it was the best chocolate cake I ever had. They also offer a variety of creative cocktails. The staff is very friendly and competent about the available vegan options. Offers change seasonal and are not always listed online, so call to ask what the current vegan options are."

This is our favorite restaurant in Dubuque!! We've eaten here half a dozen times, and the food and service has been spot on each and every time.

My partner and I were here to celebrate my birthday. We have the two vegan dishes. We didn't like the flatbread/pizza. It was really hard to be fresh and herby, but it missed the brand. With the cale and the apple it was strangely sweet, but perhaps bitter? The Polnta soup was great compared; I would get it again! They had only a vegan dessert option, but it was delicious!

Let's start by being happy that there was a vegan pizza on the menu. This is the only vegan option in the menu during our visit (Sept 2021). The restaurant has a clever menu, and I think they could develop more vegan options. It is the kind of place you would expect some fun and unique. It is a seasonal menu, so maybe this was the only option at the time of our visit. They offered a vegan chocolate cake at the time that was unexpected
