"We loved our experience here! So many of the other reviews were correct when they say this is a hidden gem. We had never been to Capitol reef before and wanted ample time to explore it and the surrounding areas like boulder and escalante. We had a 5 yr old, 2.5 year old and 2 month old with us on the trip and we had a wonderful time! The hotel is conveniently located about 13 minutes from the park entrance and it’s right next to a gas station and a subway.The rooms have been redone and updated and the breakfast was really good! Great place to stay. Hot tub felt great.Wanted to do some laundry but the sign said Closed UNTIL 8pm went back at 8pm and it was locked up and closed. Sign needs to say OPEN until 8pm.

Did the ribeye with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Started with a hot biscuit and soft butter. Locally sourced steak was excellent with a huge lip section. Service was very attentive and served with a smile. Highly recommend when in town!!!

We were heading to Bryce from Moab but it got late since we visited a few spots on the way and we found this place with old style camping carriages. They were awesome. They fit five people comfortably. Even have AC and heater inside if you need it. Every Carriage has its own bathroom so you don't have to wait in line for other people and they are super clean. They also have hotel rooms as an option. The restaurant is really good.Food drinks: I ordered the tuna steak. It was well made with the outside only cooked and inside rare.
