"This was my first upscale restaurant after returning to the States after eating foreign foods for about two years or so, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were there. The jumbo shrimp appetizer was seasoned well. The salmon entree was executed flawlessly. I never had maple glazed brussel sprouts before. That was delicious. Everything on the plate complimented one another very well. The ambiance was really nice. The service was great as well. It was an absolute pleasure to dine in this quaint restaurant last night.The service was incredible, the drinks were perfect and the food was “oh so out of this world delicious!”Thank you Valerie. Mama ’s You!PS: the maple syrup bacon jam is phenomenal. I didn’t want to try “new” but I am so very glad, that I threw caution to the wind and tried it. Oh, I’m so glad I did.

Upscale comfortable dining. The mural of Norfolk was beautiful. The lighting was just right. The bathrooms were SUPER CLEAN!!! The hostess was nice, aware, and had a sense of humor. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter who was also attentive to our orders. I enjoyed watching my food be prepared. The drinks were great. The food was okay at best but left a lot to be desired. The tuna ahi was a bit disappointing. The risotto was creamy and tasty. The pan seared scallops were a little bland, and the asparagus tasted like charred grass. Overall I’d give it a B-. I understand that high cholesterol, blood pressure, and sodium intake is real.
