"I went here for the lunch buffet, as I'm not familiar with Indian food. I was amazed at the amount of chicken dishes, and how great the food tastes. I have yet to order from the menu, but what I see from their online menu, for those who don't want to have the buffet, that it's affordable, but to me, feels a bit upscale. The servers are very attentive, and you get a cloth napkin to use, instead of using disposable napkins. Food comes out hot, and fresh. I forgot what their dish was that was made with mostly cabbage and peas in a sauce, but I normally don't eat cabbage, but it was made in a way that I didn't taste cabbage. I'm slowly learning what everything is, and hope in time, that I'll be brave to order from the menu. I would even try any vegetarian entrées that they might have."

"We ordered Taco bars for my daughter's first birthday celebration. We tried Carnitas, Steak, Chicken, and the Papillo cow tacos. All of the food was delicious. The carnitas were especially good, and the seasoning on the steak and chicken was perfect. The lime and lemon added to the flavors. The traditional beef tacos were excellent, and the nachos were even better. I suggest trying the grilled vegetables as they were delicate and tasty. The restaurant was well-organized, clean, and the food was made fresh to order. I highly recommend Rubens for delicious food. The customer service was exceptional and very accommodating. It was easy to reach them. Great job!"

"It's what keeps me coming back to Chicago. Grew up with Pepinos Italian beef. Had it shipped to all of the places that I've lived. I still rank it above Portillos. Bigger serving, Bigger flavor, leaner beef. The Gardinera is what makes the difference for me. Try ordering the Pepino's special with the Italian Beef. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water."

"The atmosphere is very chic and cozy and the food is great.Considering this is a place known for specialty handcrafted cocktails, I was disappointed at the presentation of my martini.It was served in a tiny coupe glass. Appearance of the martini is as important as the taste. Imagine a martini served in a margarita glass. We go out regularly and I have never ever been served a martini in a very tiny coupe glass. I was very disappointed considering this is a place known for specialty handcrafted cocktails. Serving a cocktail in the appropriate glass is as important as the taste of the drink. Also the price should reflect the presentation and taste of a special handcrafted martini."
