"every time i come here it is wonderful! tasty ice cream. i am not sure of his name but one of the boys in there with glasses is always so sweet! my dad and i stopped on our way to sandusky. my family always stop here when coming north. its wonderful. fast when there are long lines as well."

"Stopped by when visiting my boyfriend while he was working out of town my experience was 10/10!!! I got the California panini which is usually served with turkey but today they had to make it with an egg. It was delicious! They also had real maple syrup for my iced coffee which was a great option for a sweeter. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely be back."

"We had a dinner for 6 people. The wait time for food was very long we had several tables around us receive their drinks, apps, and entree's in the time it took for us to receive our apps. Our wives ordered the beef tenderloins at 60 dollars a piece. My wife ordered mid rare and my friend ordered hers medium. Both Tenderloins came out looking extremely well done with no pink. We requested they be re-done. When they came the second time they were extremely raw. We cut them again with the server at the table. The server was not able to distinguish the temperature of the steak from looking at it. I could tell they were under cooked when he set them down and they were jiggling. The server applied a AAA discount to the ticket to accommodate the poorly cooked steaks. I appreciate the consideration however I have AAA and the total discount only amounted to roughly $25 dollars of a $270 check. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and overall the experience should have or could have been great but missed the mark."

"I am in the process of moving from San Francisco to Boston, and am visiting a friend in Findlay while making The Grand Journey. They suggested going to this place as 'it is allegedly the only place in town with decent sushi, but I am skeptical '. Due to my experiences with independent restaurants in small towns in the US, I was skeptical as well, but decided to try it out. It may be worth mentioning that I have been to Japan and have had sushi so amazing that I have almost cried while eating it, and I have only ever lived in big cities my entire life where sushi is plentiful. Japan West in Findlay, OH is on par with my favorite sushi restaurants in Tokyo, and is definitely top 3 best sushi I have had in my life. I was floored. I understand the prices are high but I definitely think this is worth it. I am staying in Findlay longer than I had originally planned now just because I want to keep eating here. Customer service was exceptional. Quality of fish was INSANE. Seriously, all I did was order basic tekka and hamachi and I was instantly transported to Flavourtown. I wish I could rate Japan West higher than 5 stars."

"Good food, beer, higher priced brewery. Very noisy when crowded, and absurdly slow kitchen... Stopped here on way home from visit to Columbus area. They said they had a long wait for tables, suggested we sit at the bar, so we did. Ordered a few minutes after 7PM, 2 burgers and fries. At 7:30 we asked about the food, they were making them now and we were offered free fries to munch on (much appreciated). Got food shortly after 8PM, an hour after ordering and 1/2 hour after they were making them now . Was it a backed up kitchen, or was our order missed and then put at the back of the queue when the bartender inquired? Don 't know, but an hour for 2 burgers, if normal when crowded, should have been communicated upfront. It was to people who came after us, they said thanks and got up to go elsewhere."
