"In a city saturated with Italian restaurants, this establishment manages to stand out. That is due mostly to their fish dishes and desserts. Other dishes are average. Their wine selection is limited, but the few options available represent some of the best wines Italy has to offer.<br/ <br/ The service staff is personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and adapts their speed based on the customers. Some want to be in-and-out and therefore it'll be fast. Great service and food, reasonable prices. Helpful and attentive staff despite lunchtime crowd. Fritta Mixta and Italian sausage were excellent.

My first visit in years, and the ambiance is more upscale than I remembered, but the food and service are even better! My friend had the Penne Bolognese and I ordered the Lasagne both dishes were wonderful!

There's nothing particularly exciting/revolutionary about Luna Piena, but it's certainly consistent in terms of superb Italian fare. The lasagna in particular is superb a must try! The service did seem a bit scattered, but on the other hand, I was there as part of a large group (several tables) on an already hectic Saturday evening. They also had live music, which was not overly loud and a nice, festive (pre holiday touch). Definitely worth a visit!
