"Update We returned and had a positive experience this time. Server was attentive and food/drinks were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place, now know that the service and quality of food/drinks we get for the first time is not the “standard”. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service was good. We had to ask for our water several times and had long waited for our food (with a young child) although it was quite dead. The cheese curds, hamburgers and fries were wonderful. The chicken pliers were very fat and we couldn't eat most of them, as the bread and the chicken were healthy. I also ordered a mixed drink that was so strong that I couldn't even drink it. A decent place for a meal, but in any case some things they need to work on for the price you pay."

"dinner visit: no waiting time to sit. visit the breakfast: no waiting time to sit. this place was recommended by my friend as I visited for a chuteurnier near coralville. the place had a nice design, the eating was good, the waitress (the same person both paints) was simply the best waiting staff I ever had. on Friday night, I had lured her new salmon dinner with skyberry sauce. I have the word that they will soon think about adding it to the main menu. it was divine I highly recommend it. the spargel that the ship had was right to fill this part. the chocolate cake was also good. on Saturday morning I ordered the following articles: pancakes, real maple syrup, egg, sausage. the pancakes were very good, not too hard, not too soft. in both visits the proportions were greater than expected. cait has made a fantastic job. she was thrilled, helpful to ask about, her visit seemed exactly right, hit me on the beat as a soda refilled or checked as I did with the food. If they're ever in the opposite, they're going here!"

"We happened upon Rusciano’s on a windy, cold, and rainy night on a trip with our grandson. The restaurant is in a strip mall, and the interior is a bit bare and not cozy like many smaller Italian restaurants. The restaurant was perhaps 1/3 full, but the man who met us at the door offered a seat right next to the door, where it was windy and even a bit wet. Who knows why? We were all wearing masks when we entered the entirely maskless restaurant... He almost seemed reluctant to seat us elsewhere, but we got a table near the back. The menu is interesting and has many dishes that look authentic. Two of us had the basil pesto pasta and grandson had pasta with olive oil and parmigiano (his favorite). My wife and I, who routinely make our own pesto and who have tried it around the world, agreed that Rusciano's pesto with pasta was some of the best we have tried, and their bread was excellent! Grandson's pasta also got his nod of approval. My $9 glass of aglianico tasted as if it had been open for a few days; our cold fish waiter asked how everything was, and we complimented them on their pasta but I mentioned the poor-quality wine. He said nothing and walked away. Rusciano's advertises true Neapolitan pizza, and I had the chance to chat with the pizzaiolo, working by the wood-fired oven. He was born in Napoli, so he definitely knows pizza from Napoli. If the service had not been so mediocre, verging on poor, I would have given Rusciano's 5 stars. With pleasant, efficient, and caring table service, this would be a true gem. As it is, it offers perhaps the best Italian food in the region. We did not have the chance to try the pizza, to compare it with what we've had many times in Napoli, but we plan to do that on a return trip."

"Very good choice for a stay in Northern freedom for one night. Michelle was a big server, very friendly and attentive. We ordered tea and egg rolls to start, then 4 reels: Yam tempura, honey roll, spider and smoked salmon. All were excellent. My husband did not realize that the spider roll had a whole crab (we had only Sushi 3 or 4 other times in our life), so that he had a little of the legs and the cripple of the crab body Lol, but he ate 4 of the 6 reels and simply took the crab out of the last 2! I liked the honey roll best delicious! Nice presentation too! We were very happy with our choice to eat here - we went at 5 pm when they opened and when we left the restaurant was full! Always a great sign. We also thank the men who worked on the Sushi counter who earned us a surprising look and thanks. Most people don't believe in thanking the chef I think is a nice gesture. Remember to complete your servers! We also tip generously to thank people this day and age who actually want to work. Thanks Sushiya!"

"Went there for the first time last sunday to celebrate my sister's birthday. Service was beyond perfect, every single waiter made sure that we where enyoing our food and drinks , very attentive people and polite . Food was amazing , best Mexican food I've ever had in the states. Very tasty. Clean place and clean bathrooms. Drinks where made perfect , and let me tell you, I am very picky with drinks . I wish I can give this place more stars they have a great team starting from hostess, waiters and people in the kitchen ."
