"What happened to Southern Hospitality?! The hostess was extremely rude to start and wanted us to sit outside in the August heat because there were “so many” reservations. The restaurant was completely empty for the whole hour we were there. And how can a Brazilian restaurant not know how to make good empanadas and a Caipirinha (a Brazilian signature drink)?!! The empanadas were filled with barely seasoned ground beef and had an extra hard outer crust. I had a good batch once, but not today! Consistency is key. Samba Loca is now our favorite restaurant in Carrollton. We sat at the bar because all the tables were reserved and we didn't want to wait. The service was excellent. Drinks and all the food we ordered were fantastic! Highly recommended and will be at the top of our go to restaurants list. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Food was excellent. Calamari, pea soup, kebabs, lamb chops, salmon, potato sides all recommended. Service was a disappointment. We had encounters with a hostess, barman, and manager during multiple visits that were less than friendly and professional. It was not welcoming. There was a sense that we were irritating them and were barely tolerable while asking basic questions related to reservations, seating, cocktail ingredients. Not the kind of attitude or responses that keeps customers coming back.
