"We had Rachel as our waitress. We had no reservations and they were quite crowded, they had made room for us (it was 5 of us), we sat outside, which was nice with the small waterfall barrels and beautiful lights up that made the area beautiful and relaxing after such a long day! We were first served with crackers and house cheese, then we had our salads and roles with us in a timely way, then a meal shortly after! Rachel was very friendly and overhauled with everything we needed on the way. Food came quickly and large quantities for the price! And it was AMAZING!! We all have very full and very happy with the place!"

I love this place. Reserve early, Cuz they're busy. My prime was excellent and 1 and 1/2 inches thick. Bartender was a pleasure to be around

This small restaurant in Ft Edward has been a local favorite for many years. Well worth a visit when you go through Ft Edward. You have a large selection on the menu and there are several Anvil’s favorites that you can’t go wrong with. And as always, great staff!

We stayed at the Anvil Inn tonight and we had the seafood plate it was absolutely delicious!! Also the Clam Chowder had some of the best I ever had! I have bread pudding to go what I already knew was very good. Will definitely be back!!! You want to add our waitress was very attentive and took care of us very well.
