What bleededed me away was the quality of the meal: it was the same as what they freshly clad out of the kitchen and put in front of me in the restaurant. The baked bride was hot, the truffle fries crispy and hot (not easy to reach as out), the Scottish salmon was hot and completely moist. Besides, I had the stabbed pear salad (not my choice, but my friends chose it) and I will never happen in the future. Outstanding point for quality French food. Visited Thursday. I'm looking forward to coming back with my friends. Prices are decent for quality.

I've been in the smoking goat for about three years. Actually, it was one of my top spots in the North Park. Usually they have a special night and it is always Amazinggggg. I had the seafood pasta, and honestly it was best I ever had. It had muscles, shrimps, swordfish and the best sauce you could imagine. It was also a big part. Top notch Very recommend this place. I never had a bad duck. Just wish they had a few more beer options

As gifts I have received some incredible meals in places like Mr. A's or Lubach's (a while), but we are used to El Ranchito or Taco Shop in Poway because their food is so good and affordable. Apart from formality, I don't see any difference between the quality of food at a Mr. A's and smoking. Just now, with things that repel during the COVID and the election year, it seems to me the #1 thing about the Smoking Gate was the warm and welcoming attitude of every employee we met from Alex at the door to our last glass of water, each employee was genuine and friendly.
