"My son took me for a spa treatment and lunch at Mattei's for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. All the staff we interacted with were top notch; every single one of them was friendly, approachable, polite, and accommodating. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. On September 27, I responded via email to Christy Guzman and told her I was willing to provide some additional feedback. She never responded to my offer.

Food was fantastic. The halibut was cooked perfectly and uniquely paired. The heirloom tomato salad was fresh and a perfect appetizer. The steak was wood fired and very flavorful. But, tres leches was a bit dry. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance is rustic, warm, welcoming, and casual. Overall we were very pleased with our visit and would easily dine here again.
