"I usually go to the new Sax on Taunton across from the atomic salon but while I was back in town my mother told me Townie's is ran by the original owners of the old Sax that used to be there so I decided to order my usual Steak and cheese Philly with Townie's instead. I want to love this place... clean and great customer service however I got the steak and cheese which was bland my boss got a pizza which seemed cheaply made... I would pay more for better quality

A little disappointing. Didn't live up to the positive reviews. By no means was it bad, but it didn't live up to what I was expecting and maybe that's on me. The pizza was OK, nothing bad about it but it was pretty standard. Could've used more sauce, and the cheese was on the meh side. People were friendly, and they may get another shot down the road, but won't be in a rush to do so.

Honestly this menu has so much stuff yet everything here is so delicious! Not gonna spend a lot of money here either. Friendly staff make you feel like family. It's definitely feel good food that's for sure. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: Have plenty of vegetarian options such as fries mozzarella sticks salads veggie pizza and veggie calzones and veggie grinders!
