The Service was impeccable. Friendly server. Awesomely delicious food. I would highly recommend this for a GREAT night out!

Everything we've ever eaten is great. I particularly like the apple wood smoked wings, their flat pizza and Sirloin Steak with grilled zucchini. Friendly staff and the owner is born Anamosa and grew up with a long family history as a butcher and perfectionist with meat.

"I recommend the Mei Fun. It's not on the menu because it takes a little longer to make (a half an hour). But its WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Its my favorite. It is a noodle dish, the noodles are similar to angel hair pasta. Yummy! It costs the same as Lo Mein."

"The ladies that work at The Local do a very nice job. They tend to be busy, but these ladies keep smiling and make the effort to keep your experience a positive one. I have not had a bad experience. Also, they accommodate call-in/ pick-up times, which is very appreciated. Recently; I placed an order via phone and was told it would be ready in 10. But I told the gal that I was on the road and at least 30 mins away. She said, Okay, not a problem. It will be ready when you get here. They held the order for 20 mins. before making it. When I arrived, the food had just been boxed/ came out. It was perfect timing. Thank you to the kitchen staff and the wait staff. For all your hard work and kindness. Keep it up. You 're doing great!"

"Family and I have stopped here several times in the past 6 months. The entrees are pretty good. Always hot and fresh with a decent portion size for the price. We tried their desserts once and were not pleased with those. It took a long time to get them so I believe they were prepared and then sat there waiting for the server to bring them out. The service is my only complaint about the place."
