"I do not recommend Room 19 on third floor. SO disappointing after staying in room 1 a few years ago that was unavailable. Room 19 is narrow, low dormer ceilings, no shower, no air conditioning, no toiletries like shampoo- only 2 bars of soap. The tub there is no shower) has a metal beer stein hung over the bathtub handles to rinse your hair. NOT kidding). I love historic hotels but the bedroom area is small and with 2 dormers is claustrophobic. The sitting room was nice but sparse. We booked ahead for a Sunday because the hotel mentions it must be booked in advance for Sunday arrivals as there are no employees on site/restaurant is closed. Heard raves about her food. About an hour from the way to dinner, it was good, but not GREAT... I have the main rib, it was pretty good, not the best I had, it was a little hard and chewing. Mostly good but... try again!

This was my favorite hotel of my entire trip out west. The room was very comfortable and quaint. A pair of ceiling fans kept the room cool since there is no A/C. We ate dinner down in the hotel restaurant and loved it. The best part of staying at The Wolf is the bar. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We we're visiting during the Stanley Cup Finals so I asked if they could put the game on the TV. We only stayed one night, but I wish it was longer. We will definitely be back here one day!

My husband and I recently visited the Hotel Wolf and had drinks in the saloon. We loved the atmosphere and the old west feeling of this bar. The best part of our experience though, was the bartender, Jamie. Although she was really busy making drinks for the restaurant and also hostessing as well, she went above and beyond to talk to us and engage with us. Our drinks were excellent as well. The time we spent in the saloon was one of the best parts of our trip to Saratoga thanks to Jamie and her hospitality. If you are ever in Saratoga, I highly recommend a visit to the Hotel Wolf, and if you're in luck, Jamie will be behind the bar!
