"We came here around 6:30PM and the place was packed but we were seated fairly quickly. It was my boyfriend’s first time trying out Indian food and I was more than excited for him to finally get a taste for it. I have also never been in this restaurant before so I didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the goat biryani and it was great, however, I wish I didn’t listen to the server (a middle-aged guy wearing glasses) as he ‘warned’ me about people complaining about the spice levels being ‘too hot’ for them, as I really do prefer eating my food with the highest level of spice. I just wish I took the level 5 as I was looking for that bite of spiciness but the server refused me and insisted I do...

Although they were busy, Our servers went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The food was hot and perfect portion sizes the desert was delicious. We found our new favorite Indian restaurant in Hampton roads, thanks Aago for a great experience.

This was my first time, and I had an amazing experience at Aago! My server Deepak explained all of the food and the ingredients, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. On that topic, the menu is extensive and even has a vegetarian section. I ordered the Fish tikka and the sauce was so decadent and flavorful. The vibe of the restaurant was very welcoming and it was very clean. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend Aago.

We ordered on a Saturday and it was BUSY! This place has earned my 5 star review. IT was our first time there and they didn 't disappoint. My wife said 'have you ever went somewhere just wanting good food. Somewhere that just understood the assignment? Well this was IT! She was thrilled from the first step in the restaurant and I knew as soon as I took my first bite. We ordered take out and it was STILL GREAT! Portions= Amazing Quality= About as good as it gets for take out Price= A bit pricey but WORTH IT. If you 're on a budget and really hungry, this may not be a good fit. Appearance= Loved it Special shoutout to the Naan bread. We got the garlic Naan and saw specs of garlic on it. All yu...

"I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and I was referred by a friend, so it was my first time dining here. The Atmosphere to me is not very kid friendly. Everyone stared when we walk in. I had my seven year old daughter and my nine month old son. No one else in there had their children with them. The service was horrible. It took 20 minutes to even come ask us what we wanted to drink. After we gave him our drink choice, he just left. Never asked us if we wanted an appetizer or if he could offer any help with the menu being that that was our first time there. He seemed annoyed if we ask him any question. We also had to get his attention to get a refill to get a refill on our breadsticks to order appetizer to order our food. It’s like he never came to check on us, but he checked on all his other tables. We were also the only Black people in there so I feel like that is a part of a horrible service as well. Everyone else was treated nicely and friendly and we were not. I was so upset that I lost my appetite and did not finish my lasagna I spoke with Manager afterwards and she claimed she never received any complaints, but I go out to eat all the time and I good service and I know I should be treated at a restaurant. I never leave reviews on restaurants website so for me to leave a review it had to be bad. I will never ever come back here. Manager told me to come back and just reserve a table and request her, but I still refuse to come back. If I could give ZERO stars I would!!!!"
