"Came in to watch game 5 of World Series. We sat at the bar (no liquor). Ordered a beer and iced tea. The waitress handed my wife a to go cup and told her to go into the restaurant and fill her cup with ice, then she will fill it with the tea when she gets back with the ice. Asked for a menu. Tried to order food from the waitress. She told me that I had to order from the restaurant. She clarified, I had to get up, walk to the cashier and order my food. Needless to say, we decided not to order food. Why would you open a Sports Bar , not serve alcohol, offer a food menu at the bar but not full service? The business model from the outside doesn 't match the service on the inside. To be fair, we have eaten at the other Murrieta location and the food is good."

"This review is for people who are looking for venues to hold special events. Although Anthony's seems like a nice place for a casual outing my experience holding a private event felt more like a mugging. The food was good and the service was good, but I am convinced that the owner manipulated the private dining prices to take advantage of my relatively high budget for dinners. Because of my party size and the fact that the owner did not mention a prefixe menu, I planned on allowing my guests to order a la carte. We were told to choose entrées that were not on the menu and without any written price. I asked the server twice throughout the evening if I was near my budget and twice she reassured me that I was nowhere even close. Then at the end of the evening the owner disappears for almost 20 minutes to calculate the bill that conveniently pushed close to my per person maximum. He also did not tell me beforehand that there would be a charge if my party was less than 10 (I had 4 people not show up out of 10) and a $65 charge for the screen. I have held private dinners at many restaurants and never in my career have I run up a bill for $1000 for 6 people even with a room charge and screen rental. If you plan on doing an event at Anthony's, make sure you have a contract in writing and the prefixe menu upfront with the prices. The owner seemed more interested in making a quick buck rather than for any repeat business. So simply put, I will plan on taking my events elsewhere, I urge you to do the same."

"I?ve found my new favorite Italian place! One of our friends recommended this place, a small ish Italian place hidden in murietta. This inside is mood lighting perfect for a romantic date evening. The place was rather busy but we waited very little before they took case of us. Their wine selection was pretty extensive and we went on Thursday where you could get 1/2 off bottle, a pretty good deal! Highly recommend the canyon road wine! We ordered our pastas and they brought out some yummy bread with olive oil. They recommended the caprese salad to share and wow what a great pick, really hit the spot. My wife got the special of the night the spaghetti carbonara and I got the rigatoni san Romeo and wow. Talk about knocking it out of the park. Everything they served was delicious!! We were walking out of that place full and happy. The prices are pretty good for the portions, the food is out of this world, and the service is rock solid! Easily 5 stars!"

"A delightful dinner place with food you come back for more! We found this jewel from a friend who recommended that we check it before it gets too crazy to go. We show up and the outside is somewhat confusing as it is a few shops on the outside. Once we set ourselves, the menu has special and it has a few other pages of menu items. It is a few things that you can make complicated, diversity is always good. We started with delicious drinks, especially the Sox, which is actually a Boston Sauer. Although the bar was a little behind it, it was worth waiting. The starter of burrata prosciutto and so was a good way to start the evening. The ducks of Lake Bass and Lamb, were mouth water, simple and fulfills you perfectly. Good price! To close, we had some very recommended Muretta beignets! A perfect way to finish the evening. The service was great, the prices are very reasonable, the portions great, and everything came on a perfect schedule! See this place next time in the area. You won't regret it!"

They are always friendly and helpful, along with good quality food with no problems at all. I strongly recommend that this location is given a 5 star rating because that's what we as customers want and they deliver as always.
