"We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a lovely experience. The exterior of the building is beautiful and the interior is warm and cosy. We had the onion soup to start which was delicious, followed by schnitzel and plaice for main courses. Both were very tasty and were huge portions! After a day of walking this was just what we needed! A great selection of wines and beers. The food menu is traditionallyGerman and hearty. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to us! We definitely recommend this restaurant on a cold winter's evening!"

Nice place Had dinner and had a nice table outside, with a lovely view. Had carpaccio and the mussels for starter, that was not so impressing, capacious was a bit “watery/bland” mussels did not taste so much. but the schnitzel was good.

We have visited this restaurant with our 2 kids for dinner. After a warm welcome we have been brought to our table. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes from the north of Germany. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive and also very quick. If you are looking for a nice place with a traditional atmosphere, excellent food and remarkable service, this is where you want to go. Next time in Heiligenhafen we will go there again.
