"I don’t normally write reviews on restaurants. This is actually my first. The reason for writing is to inform the next patrons of black diamond bistro to choose an alternative venue. This was a really bad experience from the interactions with the hostess to the moment the waiter said “i am sorry to inform you, but your meal is going to take another 15 minutes.” This was after we had been there for an hour and the whole restaurant was empty. We have been here every year for years. It was obvious that we are the pre season training camp. they have some kinks to work out with all the new staff. The food was good but a few things were underdone. They’ll figure it out.

Our meal was fine. It was not great, but just fine. I had the buratta salad. It was the best of what we had. My husband had the steak with fries. Then we both had a dessert. Those were also both very average. Not bad but not great.

christmas eve so I understand thin staffing but they rushed us through dinner so fast. we didn’t even get a chance to look at menus before waiter was asking for orders. wine was opened and barely poured when entrees came out- 2 completely undercooked at this price range we would expect better service mediocre food
