"This restaurant was in a cute little strip which had several other restaurants and bars nearby. I really enjoyed the ambience inside they have a nice bar set up and tables are spaced out enough where it doesn't feel crowded. We ordered the pancake battered cheese curds, which I thought was an interesting twist on the dish. The sweetness from the pancake complemented the cheese curds. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which I felt were engulfed with dressing. If felt really salty, so I wouldn't order it again. Lastly I ordered the mushroom orecchiette. I did enjoy this a lot, but I didn't feel it stood out incredibly. Overall, I think this restaurant is a fun place to check out for a drin...

Great drink specials! We stopped in for a few drinks after lunch across the street at Toast. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us drink menus but they had $5 margaritas on special so we opted for that. I thought of Black Sheep as more beer based but was very impressed with their large cocktail menu. The $5 margs were fantastic btw...better than I've had at some Mexican restaurants even

On Saturday evening for dinner stopped with a friend of mine and found this a cool and tasty Milwaukeee experience. We started with the pretzel and cheese curd appetizer, which was very good. Not sure where the cheese curds came from, but they were exceptional. I then moved to orchid with mushrooms. Very rich Umami notes with roasted bread crumbs. She had done the grape salad that was nothing special but beautiful. Great place for a friend night out, first appointments, second appointments, or just because.

Went to happy hour at Black Sheep and enjoyed it! They have some great happy hour drink deals including $5 sangria and wine pours and a couple $5 cocktails. We each had sangria and enjoyed it. We split the truffle fry appetizer and the Black Sheep Burger with a side of mac and cheese. The food was good and the perfect amount between the two of us. The place got really busy throughout the happy hour, so if you want to secure a seat I highly recommend making a reservation. We will definitely be going back for happy hour in the future!

"let me start from the moment I arrived, until the moment I went, I was treated so well by all the staff. this place has a deep feeling, and that was an experience you can get nowhere else. the host who took our beverage order donna was so incredibly friendly and up to the earth, it felt like making a new girlfriend. the waitress we had (I can't remember her names, but she had dark hair and a fan to make sure she wasn't heated over while serving that I thought was an incredible idea) was exceptional at point and friendly. she made sure we took care of every moment when she noticed something was running low on our table. we were so comfortable with her, we could talk about everything! she was amazing! they start at the bar where they can order a drink and plan their order. Once they have ordered their food, they close their tab at the bar and then they are moved to their edible for their meal. they get a radishes board that includes sweet, pickel, olive and paprika. it was a delicious start and is free with its meal along with brot and salat. my coworker and I ordered both a rib eye. we shared a side of creamy spinat and sparing (the side orders are more than enough to share I did not want my steak rare or medium rare, but in between, and the boil nailed it. the outside of my steaks was perfectly presumed with a delicious crust. the au jus was a bit salty for my pleasure, but it has improved the taste of the steaks. my steak was perfectly boiled where it melted in the mouth with little wall on chew. I almost cried, that was good. I was so incredibly impressed by all the experience, I will be more than happy to make sure that I have this restaurant every time I have to say to wisconsin (I am from ohio but travel to wi for the work the only thing I have to tell the owners are: bravo"
