"I stopped at the market in the middle of a day trip. The interior of the market is immaculate, stylish and with a variety of high quality, and (I think) mostly local goods. The person who worked the counter was really polite and welcomed me on the way to the store. Lunch prices are quite reasonable and the quality of food is excellent. I had her burger, which was tender without undercooking, and with fresh salad and cheese. The bungalow was perfectly soft and buttery. I'll stop here again when I'm in the area!"

The buffalo chicken sandwich brings everyone else to shame! The Pommes are PERFECTION. I hope this place has been such a welcome surprise in this area for years!

This fall I had a customer using Bluewater kitchen catering and I was blown away from the level of service and quality of food. As a wedding planner I work with many caters, but the Bluewater Kitchen Customer Experience before and on the wedding day really impressed me! They are detailed, appealing, proactive and friendly throughout wedding planning. In a time of unusual weddings (2020) their commitment to food/guest security and planner communication in a category was all their own!

"My family and I have been dining at the Hunter 's Head for almost 30 years and after the dining experiences we have had the last two occasions would not return without significant changes being made. While I understand menus change over time, part of the draw to the Hunter 's Head was their commitment to traditional English pub fair and fresh/local ingredients. The menu now is sparse and the seasoning on the food is even more so. Of the three people who dined this most recent evening, none of us enjoyed any of our meals. I had ordered the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon that was to be served with rice, green beans, and toasted almonds. The Teriyaki glaze was more like a gelatin substance (thick/chunky) and rather than the toasted almonds being served on green beans which would be traditional, they were almond slivers (not toasted) and placed on top of the gelatin teriyaki on the salmon. It was a strange and not pleasant pairing. I substituted mashed potatoes for the rice and the potatoes were chunky and lacking any flavor. Outside of the food being terrible and having no flavor or seasoning, the service was slow and there were flies swarming all of the tables outside which made the dining experience even more unpleasant. If the Hunter 's Head wants to retain it 's former glory, I would suggest returning to their old menu and hiring a new chef. Until then, we unfortunately will not come back to dine there."
