"we were there on this Friday night (day after thanksgiving) and everyone else has to have a turkey hookover. only one other table was there, besides our most unusual. there were four of us and I was the only one who had been there before. all razed around there for meal, especially the skalopps court! service was good and the ambiente is always great. try to die the tiramisu, even if they are full!"

Nice mix of an Irish pub and a fancy restaurant. Pub menu and/or restaurant menu. Good draft beer. Attentive service. Nice patio dining. Well worth the mid-price.

wow! the most interesting thanksgiving buffet ever! the 6 stars were: lamb, salmon, veg. lasagna, beef ham, then turkey. each star had its separate and special co-star sites. Old-fashioned-not candy! pumpkin cake with fresh made real! impact cream.

"My family and I have been dining at the Hunter 's Head for almost 30 years and after the dining experiences we have had the last two occasions would not return without significant changes being made. While I understand menus change over time, part of the draw to the Hunter 's Head was their commitment to traditional English pub fair and fresh/local ingredients. The menu now is sparse and the seasoning on the food is even more so. Of the three people who dined this most recent evening, none of us enjoyed any of our meals. I had ordered the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon that was to be served with rice, green beans, and toasted almonds. The Teriyaki glaze was more like a gelatin substance (thick/chunky) and rather than the toasted almonds being served on green beans which would be traditional, they were almond slivers (not toasted) and placed on top of the gelatin teriyaki on the salmon. It was a strange and not pleasant pairing. I substituted mashed potatoes for the rice and the potatoes were chunky and lacking any flavor. Outside of the food being terrible and having no flavor or seasoning, the service was slow and there were flies swarming all of the tables outside which made the dining experience even more unpleasant. If the Hunter 's Head wants to retain it 's former glory, I would suggest returning to their old menu and hiring a new chef. Until then, we unfortunately will not come back to dine there."
