"I 'm a foodie. This place was a **** shoot since we were traveling through, and boy was it ever.... ****. Worst food I 've ever had anywhere, and anyone who says differently is delusional and has never left the vicinity of this small town. God bless them. I ordered the scampi LOL. So imagine Campbells chicken noodle soup with water and soggy noodles with previously frozen baby shrimp. My Caesar salad was 4 bites and $13!!!! Guess they are trying to stay afloat (pun intended, as it 's on the Mississippi River. HARD NO."

The guy that seated us was friendly and came back to get our drink order after no one else showed up. Thanks guy. 20 minutes later we still haven’t seen anyone to place an order. Money on the table and left. This happened with hardly anyone there. I won’t be back

Our first time here and I must say, I have no complaints. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. My husband ordered the salmon and I had the filet, we shared and both dishes were wonderful! Our server was Kaylor Little, she was attentive and friendly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

When the table became available, it was in the hottest corner of the place in direct sunlight under a tv with a broken window shade). Ive had better experiences at food trucks. Go to the Italian place across the street. Much cooler and friendly!"

"Damn good food! Great customer service, I'm terrible with name, but the guy who made my food and took my order my first time, was very polite and had a conversation with me as we know a while! Just great to the people of the earth! Who has eaten here or in the Bovina Café knows that the best food comes from these little places like this, which are honest people who care about their customers. Great place for a Poboy!"

"My husband and I traveled from Atlanta Ga back to Fort Worth Texas and we stayed in Mississippi to rest and have dinner. We decided to try Gumbo Pot because it was not so far from our hotel. We saw on the line on the map do that we know exactly what we wanted when we arrived at the restaurant. We're coming and going in and it was so crowded that we couldn't even see the counter. Finally, we realized that it was covered by ppl waiting for a table and ppl tried to place an order. We're finally here to order. And she takes our orders, we'll tell her it's an order, and then she says you want to typ us now? So my husband gives her a $5.00 tip for our order. She tells us that it will be about 25 minutes, so we decided to wait outside just because she said when upur order is ready, we call you inside to get it. After 20 minutes, my husband says I'll be there if our order is ready that he goes in and the food just sits on the counter and no one thought we'd even call us in to get it! You get your tip after we get our meal. I think that was a bad customer service. The guy stood in there waiting for his order, told us that our meals were up there on the counter for at least 5 to 6 minutes? I just give them three because the food was great. Fried Catfish, French fries roll, and hush puppies. The food was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant, only thing is customer service was not so great?"
