"The food is just passable (rubbery chicken and overcooked pasta), the service friendly, the welcome too. But it's slow, too slow. 20 minutes for the starter, the same for the main course. And at the same time, customers leave with their take-out order. I'm not fine. What saves it is the nice people, customers and staff. As I write this review, this restaurant has an average of 4.6. "we celebrated birthday of a friend and were here for lunch. the food was very tasted! tastefully excellent and dressed with love! the ambiente is also wonderful in winter thanks to the large glass fronts, it allows a magnificent view of the four-waldstadtersee! I'll be right back! the service was very friendly. even a happy birthday dessert was donated by the house, including small gift."

"Very nice restaurant not far (approx. 400m) from the Klewenalp mountain station. Good selection of Swiss specialties (e.g. delicious cheese soup) and children's meals. "Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalb der Seestrasse und ca. 20 min Fußweg von Vitznau entfernt, kostenloser Hotelshuttle ist verfügbar oder die Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Hotel. Die Anlage ist recht weitläufig und auf der Terrasse und von den meisten Zimmern hat man eine sensationelle Aussicht auf den See und Sonnenuntergang. Unser Zimmer in der oberen Etage war sehr groß, durch die kleinen Fenster etwas dunkel, das Bad hingegen ziemlich klein und alles in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Zum Frühstück fehlte es an nichts. Abendessen findet man dagegen in der Umgebung bessere Alternativen, mal abgesehen von der Aussicht. Der Service ist nicht sehr aufmerksam oder freundlich, die bestellten Beilagen wurden wortlos durch andere ersetzt, auf Kritik verwundert reagiert, für uns kein besonders gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Insgesamt war die Atmosphäre für uns etwas unterkühlt und nicht besonders herzlich, das ist aber unsere subjektive Sicht. Z.Zt. (Juli 2020) befindet sich eine grosse lautstarke Baustelle direkt vor dem Hotel, die gegen 6 Uhr morgens mächtig lärmte. Das war einfach Pech."
