"I don't understand why the server asked me how I wanted my burger cooked, as each of us at the table received a poorly cooked hockey puck that tasted worse than something reheated from a convenience store. The bun was stale and the fries were cold. It took 45 minutes for our burgers to arrive, and they were overcooked and cold. Very cool place to stop and have a beer and some food. They have a great breakfast especially, but all is good. Also, try the BuzzBrews own beer. It's phenomenal

The food was overcooked and the wait staff was inattentive. We had to request a refill for our iced tea, but they only brought us room temperature tea without any ice. The waiter did not offer to bring any ice for our drinks.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we informed the host/server that we had made a reservation through OpenTable for 8am. However, she seemed unfamiliar with the platform. Despite the restaurant being not very crowded at that time (Saturday morning), we felt uncomfortable due to this confusion. The bar menu was disappointing as we were not even given a drink menu and there was no bartender in sight. Our food was average, with the descriptions sounding better than the actual dishes. The presentation was lacking, particularly with the phat bacon not living up to its name. Overall, we may not return to this location again. The service was also just OK.

"Abraham, I didn’t score you any less, but I wanted to alert you to an uncomfortable situation my first ever while dining at Salum. I was the first patron in the restaurant at and a very kind server recognized me and asked where I wanted to sit. I didn’t have a preference, so he suggested the middle table closest to the kitchen. I remarked that it used to be my favorite table when the kitchen was “open to the diners.” I had already been seated when another server yells from the front door, “he can’t sit there! It’s reserved!” There was nothing marking that table as reserved and the first server seemed a bit embarrassed. Second server yelled “he just called and reserved it!” I acted like it was no big deal, chose another table, but after eating, paying, and walking out, that table was still empty. I just thought that was beneath the quality service I have always received at Salum. Thanks for listening. Billy"

"What is there not to like about a swanky, underground steakhouse? The atmosphere is speak-easy like but the service and food are fine dining at it's best. I took the entire family of here last night for a celebration and the experience was top notch. James and Matt took excellent care of us from the moment they walked us to our private dining room. We ordered multiple appetizers, salad varieties, and main course options. All were prepared impeccably with the temperature, presentation, and flavor we expected. If there was one negative to the night it would have to be the signature cocktail selection. I tried of them and of them just didn't work for me"
