"For someone who 's never been I 'd recommend to try it. We had an early res, and were the first table of the evening, so our experience was i 'm sure different than if we were sat later on in the evening. The food was of high quality, and the space equally so. We shared the Mushroom Crepe and the Crab Tian, both of which were delicious. They were kept simple allowing the mushrooms and crab to be the center of attention in stead of being seasoned or sauced to death to cover up inferiority, of which there was none. For dinner we had the Sirloin and Rack of lamb. Though the Sirloin was overcooked in relation to how we requested it, it was still juicy and enjoyable. The Pom Frittes that came wi...

There were 4 in our party. Two of us had the horicots vert for appetizer. Wonderful. Two of the guys had the sirloin. Extremely generous portions and cooked to perfection. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Always our favorite destination in Red Bank

Easily the finest non-Italian byob for many miles, Red Bank's own Café LORET by Chef Foy leads the pack here. New American continental with a food for vegs, pescas and carnivores, local ingredients and fine presentation. Friendly staff, visible chef. Unlike some area restos, Loret is spacious and comfortable, with an outdoor option. Don't miss it !

"I 'm extremely picky and particular in who I leave a review for, but in today 's age when I come across a business doing things exceptionally well I have to call them out on it! The low bar first: Their coffee and food is delicious! Not just thrown in a pot and poured to the customers, there is thought and deliberation as to how their coffee and food is made. I have stopped there for coffee at least twice a week for a few months now and it would be a waste of my money to go anywhere else when they are so head and shoulders above in terms of quality. When I ask for egg on my toasted croissant, it 's made for me, not thrown together. There 's even thought as to the packaging, asking me if I need a fork and knife, the way it 's wrapped and put in the to go container that I don 't get anywhe else. Service: Everyone there is friendly and positive and actually takes care to serve the customer. My coffee is actually stirred with the cream and sugar added. There is a smile on the employee 's faces and it is clear they _care_ about what they are doing for you. Atmosphere: The vibe inside is awesome and although I 've personally not taken advantage of their huge outdoor hang out area, I can 't wait to be able to. The only ding I can give them that is totally unrelated to their actions is the parking, but the worst I 've experienced is having to go a few cars past their location to find a spot on the street so I can run in and grab my coffee and/or food but that 's more of a call out than a criticism. If you are anywhere near Red Bank or Shrewsbury and love coffee, they are worth the pit stop!"
