On the corner of the busy main road into Munich but if your walking a nice place to stop off. Marienplatz in view and The English garden across the road. It's nice clean and welcoming. Prices as expected for Munich. Hot drink and snack...cake or...cookie, 7 euro ish.

Our friend took us here for brunch and it was a good experience. A very modern building with a very pleasant atmosphere, well patronised and obviously a favourite with the locals. Service was professional and efficient, the food of the highest standard. I had the...Munchener Fruhstuck, which consisted of a pair of excellent Weisswurst with Bretzel and sweet mustard. My wife and our friend had the Scandinavian breakfast with smoked salmon and scrambelled eggs. All very good indeed. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended. Would be a good place for dinner in the evening too. Checkout the brook that runs behind the Cafe, full of fish in the heart of the busy city, some of them huge!

Location is a little odd to get to, but the food and service were great. They didn't have an English menu (the first time we've experienced that on our trip to Germany), but we luckily had a friend with us to translate. I had steak...with rosemary potatoes, my companions had weiner schnitzel and a vegetarian salad. Everyone liked their meals. They have a lot of outdoor seating which would be very lovely, but it was too cold and rainy for us to use. We had instructed one of the staff to call us a cab and after waiting for a bit, my friend went back in to check on it. They had forgotten about it, but offered us a drink to make up for it. We declined, but the thought was very nice!
