"We stopped at Fairways Bar Grill in Teays Valley at 3 p.m. Saturday and the place was dead. When we arrived, there was no soul in sight and we waited a few minutes before the person appeared from behind. There was only 1 person who was inclined to the bar and the dining room. We were the only customers until the end of our meal when we asked for togo containers. Our waitress was nice, but the service was super slow, even though he was the only one. We ordered the hot cheese bites, spicy chicken and chicken gyro sandwiches. Food was good, but needed more sauce to make it excellent. My gyro barley had any tzatziki. The chicken looked burned, but was not and was perfectly cooked. We took the extra sauce to go because it took so long to get it we already treated with meals as they came. You also only have over any cheesecake taste Cheesecake Factory offers. They have high peaks. The food and wine menus are extensive with a light Mediterranean influence. We will try again, because the food itself was good. We know to ask for extras when we place the order. If you expect to be super patient."

"Lived in WV less than a year. Had my sons high school graduation dinner here. Extended family from out of state visiting for first time to Hurricane. I was nervous, not wanting to disappoint our guests from home. Anyway my son picked the place so here we went. Group of 9 and every single person was happy with every item ordered. I heard my mom raving over her salad as the best she has had in years. So, I know places have ups and downs. It stands to reason. I will say this- I was so happy that my family went home with a good impression of good food in WV. Congrats c/o 2022!"

"I’m a local who orders from here with regularity. The “2 Can Dinefor $28.99”. It includes a generous portion of all their smoked meats and 4 sides plus hush puppy’s. All their meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Our favorite sides are cabbage, greens, baked potato, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. The green beans are ok but don’t have the rich flavor of others.We tried the country baked steak special tonight and it’s wonderfully tender and exceeded expectations. A cold draft beef brewed in WV is a nice touch."

"I had a wonderful experience with curbside pickup yesterday evening from the Hurricane location.... UNTIL I got home with the food. When we opened the family sized salad, the over powering smell of cigarette smoke filled the kitchen.... the salad itself even tasted like smoke. We threw it out! If I didn't live 30 min away I would have taken it back to them."

"All I have to say honestly to my true experience that I have experienced within the limits of this established establishment is that I, myself, Dylan Gilmore. A big fan of this special place in this special area. It was the best I've ever eaten in my life, I'm really just delaying this review so I can reach the Google badges that you get for a review with 200 characters. But honestly, this place was so humid I will also drop a random photo into this review for additional points. I hope you enjoy my Memes Arby's and whoever is there.
