The young ladies at the counter were not apologetic and instead laughed as they told me to have a nice night. It was disappointing that my food was not hot when it finally arrived. What is the point of ordering ahead if there is still a long wait time? Additionally, I just discovered that my order was incorrect as I only received 6 shrimp when I had ordered a 2-piece fish and 6 shrimp meal."

I have always been a big fan of Captain D's, but the location on Deansbridge Road provides terrible service. The staff always have a bad attitude and the bathroom is consistently locked. It seems like they clean it early and don't want anyone to use it.

I haven't met such friendly and helpful fast food restaurant staff in a while. The senior specials on Wednesday and Saturday are fantastic ($7 for fish, two sides, and a small drink). We both ordered the grilled tilapia, which was delicious and cooked just right.

Our meal consisted of shrimp, fish, coleslaw, and fries. My husband requested to swap his coleslaw for green beans, but the waitress initially brought the meal with coleslaw. After he asked for the change, she mumbled something about getting him a new plate. We never saw her again after that and she ignored our request. The coleslaw was cold and not crispy. The fish was tasty and the shrimp were a bit on the larger side. Captain D's can be hit or miss. You never know if the food will be good or not, and the service can vary greatly. Their staff seems to change frequently.
