"In just a two night stay in Chincoteague, we managed to go to Captain Zack’s Seafood THREE TIMES and quite possibly a few pounds heavier, but totally worth it. We discovered Zack’s on Mother’s Day, and it was packed. We decided to put our name in because there was a two hour wait. Most everything that we ordered was local, and could not have been fresher, including softshell crabs, flounder and shrimp. Did I mention the homemade chips and hand cut fries along with the other sides with Old Bay everywhere??? The individual portions could totally have fed a family of four. The food was excellent, the service from the waitstaff was great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

We went there in the 2nd week of Nov in 2023. Considering it is off-season, they were quite a few people dining although they were not crowded. We ordered a blackened fish platter, the shrimp basket, a pizza, and some hushpuppies for the four of us. A lot of food came, relatively quickly after we ordered, and the food was so tasty. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. Will gladly go back there when we visit the area again.
