"In just a two night stay in Chincoteague, we managed to go to Captain Zack’s Seafood THREE TIMES and quite possibly a few pounds heavier, but totally worth it. We discovered Zack’s on Mother’s Day, and it was packed. We decided to put our name in because there was a two hour wait. Most everything that we ordered was local, and could not have been fresher, including softshell crabs, flounder and shrimp. The food was excellent, the service from the waitstaff was great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

We went there in the 2nd week of Nov in 2023. Considering it is off-season, they were quite a few people dining although they were not crowded. We ordered a blackened fish platter, the shrimp basket, a pizza, and some hushpuppies for the four of us. A lot of food came, relatively quickly after we ordered, and the food was so tasty. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. Will gladly go back there when we visit the area again.
