"We had a long day on the road and needed to just relax and enjoy a good Mexican dinner. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and seated in a comfortable quiet booth. Our server Arlene, immediately came over and took our drink order. She 's mastered the perfect balance of warm friendly while always observing a professional decorum at all times. Our beverages came out promptly. We ordered the chicken enchilada plate and the chimichanga plate, which also came out promptly. Everything about the food was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Food: bland and pricey. I never had to add salt to my Mexican food ever but in this case I did. I mean these plates were $30 each. For what? It wasn't worth it. Service: friendly. Attentive cause it wasn't busy. Vibes: meh run down. Definitely old and out of style.

1 year ago I visited Casa Ramos and had a pleasant experience, as stated in my first review. Sadly my second visit (1 year later) was pretty ordinary. The fishbowl margaritas are still good but the food fell well was short of the mark. I ordered the fajita salad; I envisaged a Mexican version of a Cobb salad but what I was served, tasted like teriyaki beef jerky over iceberg lettuce with a blue/gray hard boiled egg, it was very poor. If I go again Ill stick with the combo plate.
