"The salad was a huge disappointment. They forgot to put the heart of palm and egg in the salad. Forgot to bring the dressing on the side. We ordered swordfish which was very tasty but they left off the portobello mushrooms. When we asked for them they told us they were out of them. Also they have me the wrong side of vegetable. The service was not very good. Bread was served warm but it was very ordinary. We will not go back to City Fish."

Service was excellent. Food was prepared as requested and delicious. This is one of our favorite places to meet friends for dinner. Our door patio or inside. Tables are spaced nicely so we feel comfortable. Definately recommend .

Very nice restaurant, good service, but the food was not good. Actually had to request bottled water (I think for the first time ever) because the poured water had a taste and was not particularly cold, Bread was delicious. Cesare salad was like eating dry lettuce. Fish looked good when served, but really was not sufficiently cooked. Vegetable medley was good but very plain. Overall, a poor value for the money. Will not be back.

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
