"We took a Sunday drive to Breaux Bridge and had brunch at Cafe Sydnie Mae’s. The food service was excellent (but the bread pudding was fantastic)! When leaving we had car trouble and needed to go to the auto part store down the street. The owner, David offered to bring my husband their and back and assisted with the repairs. It was a genuine act of kindness and southern hospitality and it was much appreciated! It was our first trip there but it certainly won’t be our last!"

"Stopped by this place for lunch on our way back home to Texas. The service is good but the food was terrible. I guess maybe because I am used to Texas Mexican food? My wife is hispanic though and she couldn?t stand it either so I just say the food sucks. I guess there isn?t much else around this area for them to have decent reviews??"

"We drive from Lafayette to Breaux Bridge, because the food and service here are always top shelf! I had the Carnitas, and my wife had the Hacienda Potato, which has to be the largest baked potato that I have ever seen! It was full of grilled shrimp, chicken, Mexican sausage, and cheese. She said that it was To Die For! We also had the guacamole, salsa, and chips. We can't get enough of Hacienda Real Mexican Restaurant!"
