"good food. above average service. Since my last visit, in portions sizes have shrunk considerably, but the prices are about the same, so I think average. server was friendly, but forget what he told a few moments before and the same again told. also forget details like “birth day”, and had to be remembered, even if he previously commented his birthday was just a few days before. you'd think you remember that. you had to remember what we demanded more than once. he had only 3 tables I could count, so I'm not sure where the problem was, but he was overall pleasant and that's a plus every day of the week in my book. the tempo of dinner was slow due to forget, but it was tolerable. total: excel...

so pleasantly surprised that eating here was so delicious from homemade brot and biscuits to the variety of healthy and seasonal options. large selection of cocktails and very good wine options. only critique I would have, is that the lights are too bright, would have loved a much illuminated ambiente. service was also great, wants back!

"We visited Istanbul Mediterranean Cuisine Bar, 2945 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson AZ 85716 in March 2022. A host greeted us and sat us right away. Food: I had never been there before and I ordered the Doner Wrap that is 80% beef and 20% lamb. The wrap was huge and I could only eat half. It was served with tzatziki sauce, which was very good, but I did not end up putting it on the sandwich since the meat was so moist and flavorful. The sandwich came with a choice of two of sides of; rice, salad or fries. I got the fries and salad. The fries seemed like they were just cooked and the salad was fresh and vibrant with a vinaigrette dressing on it. I would recommend this sandwich plate. My husband ordered the spicy chicken pita that he like very much. He said the pita bread was delicious, soft and seemed freshly made. The chicken was tossed in a sauce and also came with a side of sauce that was quite spicy hot. We also ordered baclava and the chicken lemon soup to go and both were very good. Service: The service was very good and prompt. They served the food quickly. We were in and out within 45 minutes, which is what we like. We did not feel rushed at all. Funny, I asked my husband to request more napkins and the next thing I knew was the waiter brought a stack of napkins. I asked my husband if he had signaled to the waiter, but he said he did not. So apparently, they can read minds there! The layout of the restaurant is larger booths on the right side with tables down the middle and the bar, with stools on the left. There was a part at the back that had a sign “Only for large parties” with multiple tables. Not a big restaurant. The place was very clean and the noise level was low. Parking: There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant, but additional street parking that had plenty of spaces available. The atmosphere felt more adult focused with the bar and there was not any children. The cost was very reasonable I would highly recommend going and we will return."
