"Decided to try one of the few soul food restaurants in the area, and was excited by the 4.4 rating. However, some of the negative reviews rang true during my experience. Ordered 20 wings dings that were burnt and tasted like they were fried in old grease. Side of collard greens were barely chopped so basically I was eating huge leaves. Fiancé ordered whiting, wing combo. Whiting was pretty good but his wings were tiny and again lacked seasoning. His mac and cheese and yams were 6/10 at best. Would not patronize again unless strictly for fried fish.Lastly, the young lady on the phone was abrupt and rude when we were inquiring about what food items were available today."

Just Picked up a Fried Whiting Platter with Collards and Yams as the sides with an extra side of Cabbage. This is some of the best fish I've ever had and all three sides were very very good!!! Also enough food for minimum 3 people!!!!Wow!!! How did I not know about this spot I've been in the neighborhood for 25 years!!!!

So this is my first time getting food at this place. I must say never judge a book by it's cover, the lady that took my order was a little bit rough around the edges, at the end of getting my food she said some powerful words of wisdom. The food oh my God delicious and amazing, just what I wanted for a Sunday meal, I had ribes, baked Mac cheese, string beans. I figure I will test them on this and they passed with flying colors, and you know what I like the lady that served me. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

"Mom Pop owned café that has been at this location for awhile (like 10 years if I remember them telling me). Good for coffee drinks and breakfast fare. I myself got a simple Sausage Egg Cheese on a plain bagel (they had other options)I had a friendly conversation with the owners as my order was being made.They definitely were very friendly and helpful with picking out a decaffeinated coffee (since I asked) etc. Menus are on the wall as well...The lower level was wide open and had plenty of space for sitting and or waiting for your order. There were three seats just next to the counter as well.Very limited parking outside of the building itself but there is a huge community pay lot right nearby (mostly for the Upper Darby Municipal Building). They did have soda, water and juice options.Parking: You can probably park the street with mixed results (you milage might vary). I decided to park in the lot nearby because I was actually staying for awhile.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw one handicap parking spot in the lot nearby. Close to the exit to cross the street and pay for parking. The bottom level is accessable. However it definitely has doorway bumps. The bathroom looks big enough for a wheelchair but I cannot remember if it had the bars near the toilet. There is a ramp at the entrance."

"If you know me you know how much I love to try new food venues. I have been here quite a few times already and so far I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried, especially the beef kroeung and the pad Thai. If you and a bunch of friends are looking for great food and a nice setting this is a place you have to try. The pricing is great as well. It’s icing on the cake that the workers there are very friendly and attentive."

"Was in the area and saw great reviews for this place. A cheese steak and a small pizza. The staff was friendly and the food was ready in about 15 minutes. The cheese steak was fantastic. Bread was perfect, soft, dense and a little crisp on the bottom. It was charged and the ratio of steak, onions, cheese was in place. They gave me sharp cherry peppers on the side so I could control how much went on the sub. Pizza looked good, but I was stuffed with cheese steak. This is a perfect neighborhood spot I would go to the regular if I lived nearby."

"The service was Perfect , Server was attentive and greeted us within a great time frame. The food was DELICIOUS! I mean the wings are to die far ! And the oxtails were so juicy and tender! "I'll approach this from a different angle. You don't often think about vegetarian food when you think about a barbecue restaurant. But Wilson shakes the thoughts! They do vegetarian the right way, on separate grills that do not cook meat! Not only that, they have not only one or two vegetarian items, they have an incredible selection! We're not just talking to vegetables. Many meat substitutes such as impossibility burgers and beyond. The impossible cheese steak is a feast for your eyes and mouth! Steve, the owner is constantly experimenting with new concoctions, a more tastier than the other, and this is hard to say because they all taste so good! I have been vegetarian for 50 years and I have seen places come and go, and only a few of them have ever offered this kind of extensive menu, let alone the delicacies you get here. Many of my vegetarian friends visited this restaurant very often! Whether it's meat you're looking for, or a meat, you won't be disappointed!"
