"THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD AND SO UNDERRATED.We came here on a Wednesday night and the place was virtually empty. We ordered a lamb satay, and fried tofu to share. The lamb satay was SO good. Probably one of the best I've ever had! The lamb was super tender and juicy, and the seasoning complemented it really well (as opposed to just being covered in cumin). 5/5 and would definitely get again! The fried tofu was really yummy too! It was lightly fried on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. It came with two different dipping sauces, and I would highly recommend dipping them to get the full experience. For entree we got the beef rendang and the bakso super. The beef rendang was alright....

I came from NYC cause Many times i heard from friends this place is really good if you look for Indonesian Taste, and it's true, really good taste wise and portion wise. This is the best NASI GORENG i've ever try in USA. I will look forward to try other dishes when i came back to Philly.Food: 5/5

I recently visited this cafe and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything I tried was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking this cafe out if you're in the area!

Food: My friends and I ordered takeout from D'Jakarta Cafe. This was my first time trying Indonesian food, and I would definitely try it again. We got the Beef Rendang, a slow-cooked braised beef in coconut milk, herbs, and spices for dinner. This dish reminded me of similar dishes in Nigerian and Indian cuisine. Overall, I loved the taste of this dish the most! We also ordered the Special Fried Rice and Mix Vegetables with Seafood Rice. All orders came in sizeable portions to share and had fresh ingredients.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
