"As a local I know there are various strong opinions as to the best bakery in Healdsburg but in my opinion any argument is misplaced because The Downtown Bakery and Creamery is the clear winner. All the pastries, pies and breads prepared here are not only good they are the closest I have ever had, in my travels, to homemade. Seasonal specialities are also a step above the rest so be sure to reserve from their holiday preorder flyers. Can 't miss commenting on the great coffee and breakfast offerings also available to eat at the indoor tables with the locals. Or, take your coffee and pastry outside and have a seat on the bench and enjoy the view of the town square that lives up to its reputat...
