"The fondue was excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. The server with a brassy blonde Bob made sure there was no nuts in the bread or crackers we were given. My problem was when our server changed to a tall woman with short brown hair. I told our server I had a nut allergy (multiple times in French and she confirmed she understood) she said okay and then did not bother to check with the kitchen if my dessert had nuts, she just told me it didn’t. The dessert DID have nuts and if I hadn’t have noticed this, I could have died because her lack of care and unprofessionalism. This restaurant is NOT SAFE for allergy sufferers. Wonderfully “rustic” restaurant with a lot of tradition and a certain flair. The fondues are second to none, the portions are perfectly sized and come with bread and potatoes. First of all, a hearty amuse-bouche. The chicken and pork sausage are also exceptionally tasty. Even when the house was full, the service remained confident and gave our children some sweets at the end. Would love to come back.
