"8/1/2021: As soon as we arrived, I noticed the 90.5 health department rating. Then we were told we 're out of chips . That was our opportunity to walk out, but we messed up. We took a seat and ordered diet drinks that came out flat. The next attempt was water and sweet tea. The tea was very weak. Wife is vegan so she ordered a side of beans, rice, lettuce, and tortillas. I ordered Arroz con Camarones. I asked for black beans instead of refried with the dish. They did find some chips, so that came out with some salsa, the tomato-saucy kind. Veggie combo #1 to go. That's a soggy bean chalupa on the left. The Guacamole Mexicano 6.95 was chock full of onions and big pink tomato chunks very light on the avocado ratio.

I wanted to love this place but it was just okay. The furniture and ambiance was unique- every table and chair was hand carved with their logo, which is impressive. The margarita I had was not very good and the salsa was bland. The service was good- our waitress was friendly and attentive despite how busy she was.
