"The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. Every detail of the food and ambiance was well-thought out and expertly executed. However, there were two areas that could be improved. Firstly, the portion sizes were too large, making it difficult to finish the delicious dishes without feeling wasteful. Offering smaller portions or sharing options would be helpful. Some dishes were exceptional, such as the bread that was still memorable 12 hours later. Secondly, the wine list was overpriced and disappointing. A $120 bottle of Sancerre was mediocre and lacked the expected quality. Despite wanting to bring my own wine and pay a corkage fee, the restaurant did not allow it. This decisio...

Honestly, we had an a different experience the day before and it was better the El Cielo. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't like wow food for the money that you're paying. Some things were a bit silly like liking ice cream from a plate or licking chocolate from your hands. The first item on the menu is a frozen Mazcal which honestly doesn't taste good at all and is a bit too sweet which I think should be more of a desert. The items are served very nicely and in a creative way but again, food is nothing special. More of a story and inspiration of Columbian food. Service was great but I think it's overpriced for the food experience.

"I took my husband here as a surprise for our anniversary. It was our first time in this location but we've been to the one in Turkey. I called in ahead of time to let them know we'll be there for our anniversary and asked if they do anything. The person on the one stated we bring out a premium dessert to you and our servers will over to say Happy Anniversary. I asked if he could notate it on the reservation and he said he would. We had our dinner and they brought out the dessert they have which is the bakhlava. Now being in the hospitality business and prior experiences, restaurants bring out the dessert complimentary when there's an occasion and that's what I understood from the host that answered the phone. Anyways, they brought out the check and charged us for the dessert. I kindly asked to speak with the manager, Lawrence and explained to him the sit and showed him the call on my phone. He left and checked with the person that answered the phone and stated that there was a misunderstanding and we don't offer complimentary dessert. Now as a courtesy and from such a high end restaurant, you would think they would go ahead and take care of the dessert as this is what was explained to me but he rudely refused. He was not polite or helpful whatsoever. I for sure will not be going to this location again and definitely don't appreciate how Lawrence the manager had treated us"
