"my wife and I had a really good dinng experience eating was traditional in many respects (German eating is sometimes hard,) but this time it was with a very precise preparation and a certain lightness. with the very local alder God...white wine that accompanied the meal, it felt right, and after three curses we left the restaurant very satisfied. the owner of “Engel”, herbert decker, is a careful and excellent old school host. a true heart, each centimeter as exquisite as this local device. they will not be disappointed. black forest gas love best!

we found the restaurant more or less random and had the best luncl on our trip. we visited the place in the early afternoon and had the cooking menu: foie gras, thunfisch sashimi, big desert among others. the service was friendly and the price. very sufficient.
