"My friends and i passed by it, and it looked interesting so we walked inside. The owners of the place are armenian and its a family run business (which i love btw). idk it felt so cozy and nice. omg the food was UNBELIEVABLE. The juices of the chicken were just falling like a waterfall onto my plate. the salad dressing made me want to jump inside the bowl and swim around in it. Don’t even get me started on the soup. Delicious to the last drop. My friends loved it too and now we’re there like practically every week or every other week. oh one more thing, their vegetarian sampler was to die for. k now i’m done. lol"

We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions. The food is absolutely amazing! We have had the ground beef kabob…which I believe is called Kubideh on the menu, chicken kabob, falafel wrap, chicken wrap, vegetarian plate, soup, and salad. With the exception of the Baba Ghanoush and the Tabbouleh…which I would have to say was just ok….everything else was incredibly delicious!

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
