"Terrible experience! My brother ordered a chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. The food took forever to arrive! When he finally opened the box, he found three soggy chicken tenders on two pieces of white bread, along with fries that looked old and greasy. Everything was cold and just thrown together haphazardly. One of the containers even had some cheese on the side and bits of lettuce on the floor. It was clear the box had been reused, as the chicken was poorly presented. When he opened it, I couldn't help but laugh for a good five minutes— I honestly couldn't believe that people would eat something like this. I had looked at the reviews before and told him not to ord...

I ordered two five-piece chicken tenders with onion rings. The chicken tenders were poorly seasoned and lacked flavor! The onion rings were fried so hard that they were impossible to eat, even if you had teeth made of stone! It was a very disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

The cabbage, corn, and chicken were decent, but everything else was incredibly mediocre—it's hard to believe a restaurant served it. The mac and cheese lacked flavor, the mashed potatoes were the worst I've ever had, and the cornbread was just average. I could have easily prepared a better meal at home for less money.

I only received my food recently, and the fries were mushy on the fish sandwich. The sandwich itself was quite basic and didn’t come with any sauce or Texas toast as advertised. The onion rings were so overcooked that they were inedible and tasted like they were fried in the same oil as everything else. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
