"I usually don’t like leaving negative reviews however this it hard to ignore…. My visit last week will be the last time I go to this Firehouse Subs. It started off with the workers seemingly bothered by having to do their job and make my sandwich. Nothing unexpected from fast food theses days. It didn’t get better from there as I watched MULTIPLE roaches on the wall near where my food was being prepared and on the floor where the tables were. DISGUSTING. As if that was not enough, my sandwich was super soggy! It seemed like they dipped the whole thing in a bucket of water before they served it to me. No wonder I was one of the only people in there. Terrible experience."

Matt and Mike made some killer sammies for me today. Matt always does. But today, I got DP’d by two sub artisans and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Best firehouse I have been to! The staff is so welcoming and they always have a smile and engage with you! Tevin and Tonya are amazing! You can taste the sandwiches are made with love. Ive been to other locations where the subs dont taste as good, but they are always on point here! After a long day it's nice to walk in to a place that the staff looks like they enjoy being there and are always so nice! Definitely a go to if you havent been!

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
