Our order was incorrect. The California burger was missing from our delivery. We also requested add-ons to the patty melt that were charged for but not included. Additionally, we asked for 3 fry sauces and ranch dressing which were not included in our order.

The cheese fries were not crispy and the cheese had clumps in it, making it seem old or curdled. The burger was also hard and overly salty, to the point where it was difficult to eat more than a few bites. Overall, the food was disappointing and unappetizing.

"Since the move to Kansas I have tried many gros from Colorado to KC and this place brought me home. I love the whole setup. I for a love when a food specializes in a style of food and devote to making it perfect. The menu is a page that is ingenious because instead of trying 150 items to 50% they prepare the entire menu to 190%. Definitely recommend it and will definitely cartridge it more frequently."

"Went in for lunch with my wife and when we entered there was one table and one person at the counter. The smell of the bbq made my mouth water..... But, the person at the counter was talking with the manager about catering an event when the manager was supposed to be taking orders. We waited for 10-15 minutes and did not get acknowledged so we left. Right at noon is probably not the right time to discuss other events at the counter...."

"I feel like every time I wanted to try and come to this place there was always a reason that distracted me from getting here on time. But, I finally did it. This place is so effing tiny, and it’s feels almost like you’re in someone’s home. “It’s a vibe.” I came during a slow time but there were people slowly trickling in and out and the employees there was familiar with everyone that walked through that door, telling you that they were regulars. It’s probably weird seeing an outsider but for me, they were very welcoming and stayed patient with me when I was trying to figure out what I really wanted out of their menu. They so have a lot of options so I couldn’t decide! The price here is fair and you do get a lot for what you pay for, and the food, meat, juicy, mac and cheese, creamy and I got a little surprise dessert that I didn’t know came with the meal. It was an oatmeal cream pie, and I don’t know about you, but I love oatmeal cream pies and honestly it was a great way to end that hefty entrée! Stop by."

"I felt bad running in it because I don't know anything about the menu, but not only were they patient, there was a young man there, curly hair, somehow big, I didn't get his name, and he explained all toppings to me and their spices. that made my experience better. then of course the food was delicious. good service and good food"

"We were staying at the hotel next door and I could smell the smoker going. I went to see their hours and they were not open to the public yet. I met the ladies from JC’s outside and they invited us to dinner while training was going on. It is AMAZING. I had the BEEF brisket on a pretzel roll. It had all the fixin’s with sweet potato fries as my side. The service was impeccable and the restaurant layout is very inviting to all. I highly recommend their menu. It has a wide variety, something for everybody. Thank you for your hospitality JC’s."
