"My partner and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary at the Republic of Texas Bar & Grill in Corpus Christi. During our visit to San Antonio, we enjoyed a delightful dinner with a breathtaking view of the water and cityscape from the rooftop of the Omni Hotel. "Overall, the food was very good. Potatoes au gratin were a little done, but everything else was on site. Steaks were cooked for perfection, salads were fresh and tasty, and the key limecake dessert was a beautiful treat. Wine list is good, and there are some reasonable values. Service was excellent as always. Saturday evenings usually have a kind of musical combo. Tables are nicely spaced, so a romantic dinner is possible here."

"This has been my favorite place to come for breakfast/brunch. They have the most delicious pastries. We've also enjoyed their waffles and paninis. They serve very large portions, we've left with a to-go box every visit. Their staff, every single one I've interacted with during a visit, are the friendliest! Understandably, It's very popular, therefore busy, but we've never waited long for a place to sit."

"Husband and I were on Saturday night. We ordered, and I ordered the ribs, but I can't have potato salad due to the food restrictions of my autoimmune disease. So I asked her if I could have something for one side. She said there was a salad and she asked if Ranch was okay; she can't. I asked if they had a vinaiigrette. Well, when we got the appetizers (the fried cucumbers and the cheese cures they brought us this with Marinara and honey mustard, because I can't have ranch. That was super thoughtful! Hubs has the avocado grilled cheese thing. Our meals were super amazing. I have to say the ribs I got were some of the best per price class I had. We never had to call for refills; our server was hella over it. At the end of the food Naben ordered a yeast wheat, and when she asked what brewery, he said surprised me! Instead of just randomly picking one, our server asked the bar staff and brought him their recommendation and he really loved it. I got her peach splash (what? That was really good. But I thought it was cool from her that instead of it only for the surprise beer to wings, she consulted for a reference. That was really about her. Anyway, our server was amazingly super-attentive and simply really pleasant. The food was also amazing. We will definitely come back!"

"I ordered the sliced beef sandwich around 2:30 during a non-busy Time the meat was a little over seasoned and tasted fatty but I was hungry and devoured it 2 hours later at home my stomach turns sour and I threw it all up I contacted management but they didn't seem very apologetic telling me I was the only person who complained.... I've eaten here over the years with no problems but I go during the busy time so I guess it is true they're open till they sell out because it seems like I was served the leftover scraps"
