"My husband used to live in Louisville and loved this restaurant, too bad when we came through on the way south from Chicago they were closed (5th January . We decided to just spend the night in the city and go to the restaurant the next day (6th January . We went there and everything was nice, as nice as he exactly remembered. We had bone marrow (it was the bomb! So good! and the elk burger (also really good . It seems that a good thing comes with a steep price because little did we know, that day, a snowstorm hit the city causing many accidents and road closings. A 4 hour trip from Louisville stuck us for 15 hours in I-75. Was this experience worth for the hassle? Probably not, but in any...

My man and I rode our bikes here. I got the alpaca burger and he got the kangaroo burger. It was so amazing I came back three times since! I have gotten the kangaroo burger and a camel burger as well. This place is heavenly! The bone marrow is so delicious

Truly excellent. Delicious and perfectly prepared, a lot of thought goes into each recipe and you won’t be disappointed. My server Addyson had sampled most of the burgers on the menu and guided me to the perfect one. This restaurant stands out in a crowded field of delicious destinations in Louisville.

If you are a meat lover this is the place for you. I will highly recommend the bone marrow easily one of the best bone marrow I've ever had. Plenty of exotic meat to try I got the meatballs, and I recommend getting the meatballs at a medium to medium rare as my meatballs were a little bit overcooked in my opinion but still very good. Great little cabin vibes while you enjoy a beer as well.

"First let me say the atmosphere is amazing, although a little loud, but in an exciting sort of way, not in a can 't hear your conversation sort of way! Our server, Christian, was amazing! He is absolutely one of the best in the business! He was knowledgable about the menu, the history of the building, bourbon and wine and more! Now on to the food! The crab cake appetizer was the very best we had ever eaten! It was pure crab with just enough bread crumbs on the outside to hold it together! Just big hunks of crab! Yum! We had heard so many times that Repeal had the best steaks in the city so we had to check it out. I am sad to say we do not agree! My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side even though I ask for it to be medium well (a little pink). My husbands steak was under cooked even though he ask for medium well also. Yes, we could have sent them back, but unless something is inedible, we rarely do. We were just disappointed more than anything, steaks were still very edible and good, just not great! The $20 twice baked potato was not worth $20 even though it did have slices of truffle on top and truffle oil as an ingredient. The Caesar salad was a disappointment! The addition of white anchovies was different but did not elevate the salad in our opinion. The bread pudding was amazing! I highly recommend! Oh, the cocktails were subpar! I know this sounds like a total tear down of Repeal, but it is not! I think we had too high expectations and were just let down by our experience considering the price! So, with all that said, would I go back? Yes! I would but would chose very different menu items than this time. And I would probably skip cocktails and go for wine instead."
