"The food and service were outstanding! Our server, Julie, was attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed every bite from the warm bread to our cheesecake. I had the shrimp scampi special with the gratin potatoes and asparagus sides, and my husband ordered the tortellini with added shrimp. Both dishes were delicious! We definitely will return to the General’s next time we’re in the area!"

The elegant and quiet dining room is a perfect companion to the delicious food served at The Generals. Service is above and beyond. The Generals will always be one of our dining spots when we visit Galena.

The food was very good, and the service was fantastic!! The atmosphere was perfect, and set the right tone for my date, and me. It was a memorable experience, and we look forward to returning to do it all over again!!
